This Digest summarizes significant decisions of the former DILHR Industrial Commission, the Labor and Industry Review Commission (LIRC), the former Wisconsin Personnel Commission and the Wisconsin courts under the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the Wisconsin Open Housing Law, the Wisconsin Public Accommodations and Amusements Law, the Wisconsin Family and Medical Leave Act, the State Employee Whistleblower Law, and the other laws within the program responsibilities of the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division (ERD).
Summaries of selected decisions of ERD Administrative Judges under the Wisconsin Family Medical Leave Act and other laws which are directly appealable to circuit court are also included. The decision summaries are organized according to subject matter, in reverse chronological order (most recent cases first).
