Unemployment Benefits for Claimants

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 became law on March 11, 2021. The Act extends many of the Unemployment Insurance programs from the CARES Act and Continued Assistance Act beyond their original expiration dates. We are working as quickly as we can to review, program, test, and implement the extensions. Please check our websites often for the most up-to-date information available.

We are accepting Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) online applications from individuals unable to work as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic who do NOT qualify for Regular Unemployment Insurance (UI), e.g. self-employed, independent contractors, workers with limited work history.

If you have become unemployed or partially unemployed, you may apply for unemployment benefits online. File weekly claims to receive benefit payments after requirements are met.
