Wisconsin Fast Forward Grant Available to Pilot Collaborative Employer Training, Retention Resource Program

A single, one-time award of up to $50,000 will be made to a consortium of partners to develop a one-year Employer Resource Network program

MADISON – Today, The Department of Workforce Development's (DWD) – Office of Skills Development (OSD) released a new Grant Program Announcement (GPA) under Governor Walker's Wisconsin Fast Forward (WFF) program, making available up to $50,000 to develop and implement an Employee Resource Network (ERN) pilot program.

OSD intends to award one ERN pilot program grant to a Wisconsin consortium or partnership that unites local businesses and community partners to improve job retention and advancement opportunities for entry-level, low-wage and low-skilled workers and reduce staff turnover costs for employers.

While designed to assist entry-level, disadvantaged employees, including those most at risk of job turnover, the pilot ERN will make employment resources and support services available to all interested employees.

Applicants: Wisconsin consortiums or partnerships consisting of several local employers and public and private entities
Deadline to Apply: 3 p.m. on May 1, 2018
Award Amount: Up to $50,000
