SE Wisconsin Employers Attend February 15 Construction Job Fair

MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is partnering with Employ Milwaukee and UMOS to host a Construction Job Fair from 9 a.m. – Noon on Thursday, February 15 at the UMOS Technology Center.

The hiring event aims to help jobs seekers explore great-paying industry careers with excellent benefits and connect them with participating employers to fill immediate job openings, including roofers, electricians, truck drivers, restoration workers, concrete workers, equipment operators, window & door installers, construction laborers and more.

The job fair will also provide job seekers with an opportunity to explore construction industry apprenticeship opportunities.

Job seekers should prepare to meet hiring managers in-person, dress appropriately for success and bring multiple resume copies to the event. Registering on JobCenterofWisconsin.com prior to the event is encouraged.

The UMOS Technology Center is located at UMOS, 2701 S. Chase Avenue, Suite D, Milwaukee. Job seekers should proceed directly to Suite D to register and access the job fair.
