DVR Service Provider personnel and subcontractors must complete all required trainings before working with DVR consumers or accessing consumer-related information. Completion dates must be recorded in the DVR Service Provider Portal under each personnel and/or subcontractor's individual record. DVR Service Provider Portal accounts are created and approved after an agency has been accepted as a DVR Service Provider.
All DVR Service Provider personnel and subcontractors must complete DVR IT Security Awareness Training. Course completion dates must be recorded in the DVR Service Provider Portal System for each active personnel and/or subcontractor listed.
All DVR Service Provider personnel and subcontractors must complete an ethics course that meets DVR requirements. Course completion dates must be recorded in the DVR Service Provider Portal System for each active personnel and/or subcontractor listed. The ethics training must meet the following criteria:
DVR Service Providers may complete any ethics training that meets the criteria outlined above. The training providers listed below offer ethics training courses; however, DVR does not endorse any specific provider or course. It is the responsibility of each DVR Service Provider to ensure that the selected ethics training satisfies the criteria listed above.
Personnel and subcontractors providing DVR statewide services or completing DVR statewide reports must complete the Statewide Service Technical Specification modules for each statewide service they provide.
Important – Through June 30, 2027:
Service Providers must continue meeting current Customized Employment training requirements. Service Provider Qualification Requirements (SPQR) for Customized Employment will take effect July 1, 2027.
Below is a list of trainings that DVR is aware of that will qualify Service Provider personnel and subcontractors to provide Customized Employment. DVR does not endorse any specific training. The list provided is not exhaustive. Service Providers may attend other Customized Employment trainings that meet ODEP competencies. For additional information regarding Customized Employment training requirements please see Essential Elements of Customized Employment. Service Providers are responsible for all fees, costs, and other requirements related to these trainings.
