File Tax Report

Employers with 25 or more employees in a quarter are required to file their quarterly tax and wage reports electronically. Once you are required to file electronically you must continue to file electronically in the future.

DWD will stop mailing Quarterly Tax Reports in 2027 due to increasing security risks involved with mailing Personally Identifiable Information. All employers should file their tax reports electronically as it is more secure and safeguards their employees' personal information. Paper filing is only accepted for employers with less than 25 employees, though we still encourage electronic filing.

Online access helps you reduce reporting errors, improve tax calculations, and is more efficient to both file and pay your quarterly taxes. In addition to filing your quarterly reports, you can respond to benefit inquiries, make first quarter deferral elections, find your tax rate information, use the voluntary contribution calculator, update your account information, and more! There are new features coming soon like secure messaging, other electronic forms, and online appeal options.
