DWD Announces Service Location Changes in Wisconsin Rapids

MADISON - The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is announcing a service location change for the Wisconsin Rapids Job Center located at 320 West Grand Ave. The last day the location will be open to the public is Friday, Feb. 20.

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), which provides supportive services to individuals with disabilities to find and keep a job, will move to the Wisconsin Rapids State Office Building at 1681 2nd Ave S, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495 and be open to the public for service on March 2, 2026. Between Feb. 20 and March 2, DVR will provide services at libraries and other locations in the community.

DWD staff will continue to provide employment services including resume and interview help for job seekers, training resources, and veteran’s employment services at libraries and other community locations in Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point. Find alternate service locations or connect with employment support.
