Under Section 188 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, the State has established a complaint filing process to accept complaints by any person who believes that the following circumstances have occurred:
Generally, a complaint must be filed within 180 days of the alleged discrimination or retaliation. The Department's Equal Opportunity Officer shall issue a Notice of Final Action within 90 days of the date on which the complaint is filed.
