The Local Consortium is responsible for securing sufficient funding for the local program. There are no restrictions on the types of funding, which may be used. Costs of the Related Technical Instruction are generally shared by all schools participating in the consortium if students attend a common class.
Employers are responsible for covering the costs of providing skilled mentors to instruct students in the work-based competencies and for paying the student wages.
