Moraine Park s Automotive Technology program provides the expert training and environment needed to become a certified professional who knows how to diagnose, maintain and repair vehicles in today s auto industry. If you have a love for cars or are looking for a fun, exciting career, apply today to start preparing for ASE certification testing and become a skilled automotive tech. Students learn to diagnose, service and repair vehicles through hands-on training from experienced professionals. Graduates repair all eight major systems of the automobile through advanced auto technology which includes engine mechanical, engine performance, automatic transmission/transaxle, manual drive train, brakes, steering and suspension, climate control, and electrical and electronic systems. This program is offered

Program applications are accepted until a week prior to the start of each semester. There are some exceptions for programs or certificates that begin mid-semester. Some high-demand/limited-enrollment programs reach capacity based on the number of students who complete admission. Applicants are accepted into limited-enrollment programs on a first-come, first-served basis and are admitted from program waitlists as space becomes available.
All credits from the Auto Maintenance Technician technical diploma transfer to Moraine Park’s Automotive Technology associate degree.
Advisory board committee members from area businesses provide guidance and direction on curriculum and program outcomes.
Moraine Park offers Employment Services and Career Services to students.
Tutoring is available online and face to face for our students.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
