Microsoft Office has been the productivity software standard for decades, and having MS Office skills became the minimum requirement for any role that uses a computer. Introduces word processing applications, functions, and features. Emphasis on creating, editing, saving and retrieving files; using templates; creating organized tables. Covers typical as well as many advanced procedures of word processing and presentation software. All course material will be online, the only thing students will need is Internet access. In-person open labs will be available for instructional support. A UWM at Waukesha student login is required and will be distributed prior to the class start. Course fee is $249 for materials and online instructor Other fees: based on purchasing two exam vouchers for Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. These fees are only if student is planning to take the certification exams upon course completion.
If you are unable to attend your class, please email Continuing-ed@uwm.edu. If you cancel 8 days prior to the start of your class, we are happy to issue an account credit/voucher to you. If you do not provide an 8 day cancellation notice, you will not be eligible to receive a credit/voucher*. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided once a key code has been issued. All cancellations will be assessed a 6% administrative fee.
