Over the course of 24 weeks, you will be introduced to the two major skillsets that drive digital interactions: UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) Design. The design cycle begins with UX research: designing surveys, conducting interviews, analyzing data with tools such as user personas and empathy maps. Once you understand the user, you will then learn the basics of graphic design: composition, color theory, and typography before moving on to understanding their application to the user interface. Wireframes and prototypes are where you will work out your ideas for how the interface should function and appear. Throughout the program, you will be working on two portfolio projects to show future employers. In the last four weeks, you will work on your third portfolio project: your capstone, a project driven by real ideas and real people. Design Process and UX Foundations will teach with the Designer’s Mind: What does a User Experience Designer actually do? What is Design Thinking? In this course, you will explore answers to these questions by learning how to interpret your user’s needs, their mindsets, and how to design digital products for large user groups. Then you'll look at the big picture in design: How do you begin to design a user interface? How do users respond to cutting-edge designs vs. outdated designs? In this course, you will learn how to use Figma to apply visual design foundations in the creation of your first wireframes and user flows. You'll begin to feel your sense of design begin to grow. Until this point, you will have focused on individual design products. This course introduces you to the concept of design systems and walks you through the process of creating your first brand guide! Learn how to leverage research findings into design decisions and create interactive prototypes to test and more.
Attend networking events and discover new communities for people in your industry. Meet hiring partners, mentors, and industry experts.
The career development track is taught and hosted by a professional career coach. The track includes bi-weekly workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions. Career workshops provide you with a framework to identify your post-Bootcamp career goals and a 360-degree strategy to achieve them. Whether you have questions about an upcoming interview or need some help with your resume, one-on-one sessions provide you with an opportunity to get direct feedback from a career professional. How you represent yourself on your resume, through a cover letter, and online is crucial to giving potential employers an accurate and enticing first impression of your skills and capabilities. MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
