Phlebotomists play an important role in the medical eld through the collection of blood and other patient samples for medical testing and diagnosis, as well as for donation to blood banks. Become a phlebotomist with Moraine Park s two-course technical diploma, which prepares individuals to collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures for the purposes of laboratory analysis. This program is offered

Program applications are accepted until a week prior to the start of each semester. There are some exceptions for programs or certificates that begin mid-semester. Some high-demand/limited-enrollment programs reach capacity based on the number of students who complete admission. Applicants are accepted into limited-enrollment programs on a first-come, first-served basis and are admitted from program waitlists as space becomes available.
Program graduates have the opportunity to continue their education through a direct pathway into the Medical Laboratory Technician associate’s degree.
Advisory board committee members from area businesses provide guidance and direction on curriculum and program outcomes.
Moraine Park offers Employment Services and Career Services to students.
Tutoring is available online and face to face for our students.
