UW-Eau Claire College of Nursing & Health Sciences offers a BSN Completion Program for practicing registered nurses with an associate degree or diploma in nursing from an accredited nursing program who wish to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. The BSN Completion Program, also referred to as the Collaborative Nursing Program (CNP)/BSN@Home Program, is a joint effort of six nursing programs in the University of Wisconsin System. Formal application to the BSN Completion Program must be made in the semester prior to enrolling in nursing courses. (Students may apply while in the final semester of their technical college program.) Admission to the BSN Completion Program at UW-Eau Claire, requires: • Graduated with an associate degree in nursing from nationally accredited nursing program with minimum 2.5 GPA • A current Wisconsin or Minnesota RN license • Admitted to UW-Eau Claire in good standing • Completed at least 30 transferable liberal education course credits Show More

Rolling admissions so no deadline. Applications are reviewed bi-monthly by the Admissions Committee
UWEC offers a Writing Center to assist with completing written assignments. A math center is available if math assistance required. The BSN@Home state-wide program also provides writing assistance through UW-Extended Campus.

No additional fees as these are bundled into the tuition.
Tuition is reimbursed per course: if student drops a course within the first two (2) weeks of the semester (fall and spring) full tuition is reimbursed.

PLEASE NOTE:

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
