Precise control, measurement, and application strategies through the use of technology is extremely important to be successful within the agriculture industry. CVTC s program gives students real-life practice utilizing the latest technology used in agronomy. This program provides a high level of training in agronomy, precision farming, data management and agribusiness, as well as hands-on experience in a variety of different agriculture aspects, including plant science, agriculture equipment, precision farming tools, fertilizers, and chemicals. With the use of new farm equipment from our partnering equipment dealers, students will engage in hands-on learning using precision technology on over 150 acres of farm land that CVTC operates. Before the first day of classes.
Agronomy Technician is a one-year technical diploma that is embedded in this program. This program may transfer in part or whole to a 4-year university.
CVTC offers its students career service to aid in finding employment during and after an educational program.
CVTC offers tutoring to students through the Academic Services department.

The costs listed are an estimate based on current tuition and fee rates and is intended for planning purposes only. Refunds for all courses scheduled to meet a semester or longer: 100% before the first day the class meets. The day the class meets and not the time of day defines the first class meeting. 80% during the first 14 calendar days from the first instructional day of the term. 60% during the 15th through the 28th calendar days from the first instructional day of the term. PLEASE NOTE:

The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
