An executive assistant needs a broad skill set to be able to provide direct support to their organization's leadership. If you're pursuing a career as an executive assistant, this course will prepare you for the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) and teach you key business management skills. This body of knowledge will help you thrive in an executive assistant role in any corporate office setting. You will learn the intricacies of organizational communication, office and records management, and human resources fundamentals, among other topics. You'll also gain an understanding of financial and accounting terms, successful negotiation strategies, the marketing process, employment law, compliance and regulatory requirements, and licensing, permits, and taxes.
