The Accelerated Elementary Education Licensure program is a fully online bachelor's in education leading to a Wisconsin license to teach grades K through 9. The accelerated courses can be scheduled to complete the program in 3 years. Students begin in-classroom practicums in year one and graduate having met the requirements to apply for a Wisconsin teaching license in elementary education. One can transfer in up to 84 credits from an accredited institution.

Students must pass a background check prior to taking the first education course.

Program curriculum provides the student with the education necessary to be successful in their chosen field. Each student is assigned an Academic and Career Advisor who assists them throughout their program.
Concordia University has a genuine desire to work with partners in the community. Companies who agree to partner are able to access customized professional development opportunities and employer spotlight recruiting opportunities. Employees of partner companies receive a Business Community Scholarship. Employees of partner School Districts receive an Academic Community scholarship
Every Concordia student has access to Handshake, the largest internship and job search platform designed specifically for college students. Internships complement coursework and help students discover how their gifts and talents are best used in the workplace. Students have access to thousands of internships and full-time jobs in Wisconsin and nationwide. The Practicum and practice teaching elementary education students must complete often lead to job offers.
Tutoring and Academic Support Services are available per student request.

One can transfer in up to 84 credits from an accredited institution. Program is also TEACH grant eligible. Cost of books varies depending on if purchased (new or used) or rented.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
