Concordia s Early Childhood Education program aims to increase number of skilled teachers particularly diverse teachers - in Southeastern Wisconsin by streamlining a pathway to a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education & Wisconsin Teacher Certification. This program is open to instructional aides & other non-licensed individuals who are already working in schools & who have a desire to earn their bachelor's & Wisconsin teaching license. This is an adult accelerated program for working adults. All participants must fulfill university requirements for a bachelor's degree in addition to completing the necessary courses & experiences for a license from Wisconsin's Department of Public Instruction (DPI) which are embedded into the program. Rolling admission with start dates every 8 weeks throughout the year.
Every Concordia student has access to Handshake, the largest internship and job search platform designed specifically for college students. Internships complement coursework and help students discover how their gifts and talents are best used in the workplace. Students have access to thousands of internships and full-time jobs in Wisconsin and nationwide.
Concordia has an on-campus Academic Resource Center that provides tutoring services and a writing lab. Concordia also has a contract with TutorMe to provide web-based tutoring and writing assistance to non-traditional students.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
