Designed for registered nurses with an associate degree in nursing, our Bachelor of Science in Nursing Completion program helps you advance your career in as little as 15 to 20 months. Our innovative, online program strives to deliver the best education in providing patient care. Classes are delivered online, asynchronously so you can work around work, family, and life. We respect where you've been, where you are and where you're going. Our dedicated RN to BSN program advisors work with you to develop an individualized academic plan for your success. The program consists of 120 credits for the BSN degree including 30 nursing credits. UWGB is a transfer friendly institution. You can transfer up to 90 credits toward your BSN degree including 60 credits from your associate's degree. You will work with a dedicated advisor to determine what you can transfer. Show More

Admission Requirements To be admitted to the RN-BSN completion program, you will need to have the following requirements: ADN or Nursing Diploma 2.5 College GPA (on a 4.0 scale) Current unencumbered RN license in any state Students who are currently pursuing their Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) are able to take RN-BSN courses while completing their ADN. Students may also take courses to fulfill the general education and support courses for the BSN degree

We have a rolling admission so prospective students can apply any time and start classes in the next available term.
Nurses with an Associate Degree who earn a BSN are able to apply to graduate school for an advanced practice nursing role (APNP, Midwife, CRNA, nurse educator, nurse leader). A BSN is required to apply for a public health nurse position in Wisconsin and is often preferred for a number of nursing roles (e.g., school nurse, charge nurse, etc.).

UW-Green Bay offers tutoring services for a number of courses.

Online non-nursing courses may incur a $25/ credit distance ed fee.
Students who WITHDRAW from all classes in a semester will receive a refund based on the length of the course & date of official withdrawal from the course. For example; withdrawing from courses that are 12+ weeks in length during weeks 1 or 2 will receive a 100% tuition refund plus a withdrawal penalty. Students who withdraw from courses in weeks 3 & 4 receive a refund of 50% (owing 50%) with no withdrawal penalty. By week 5 there is no refund.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
