As part of our full stack bootcamp curriculum, Grand Circus works alongside our students to explore available career options, help them set career goals, and stay motivated as they pursue their dream job. Some of the most frequent job titles for our bootcamp graduates include Programmer, Front-End Developer, Jr. Developer, Jr. Software Engineer, Software Developer, and other technical roles related to web and mobile application development. Additional job titles for some of our bootcamp graduates include QA Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager, and other managerial roles. With the help and support of our Career Services team, students identify their goals, practice one-on-one interviews for tech jobs, learn to market themselves and their skills, and launch their new career in tech.
Grand Circus works with a network of 400+ employers to align our curriculum with in-demand skills. We monitor market conditions, industry best practices, and hold regular meetings with industry employers. Further, we closely monitor student employment outcomes. As of our most recent outcomes report, 88% of our students were able to obtain a technical job after graduating from our program.
Grand Circus bootcamps include Job Training Curriculum run by our Career Services team that consists of a series of workshops. The topics covered include Career Inspiration & Exploration, Resume Building & LinkedIn, Impostor Syndrome, Giving & Receiving Constructive Feedback, Communicating for Success, Interview Prep, and Distinct Value Add. In order to successfully meet all Career Service requirements, students must attend 2 career coaching sessions with one of our career counselors, have an approved resume, and complete 2 mock interviews (one behavioral interview and one technical interview). Additionally, Grand Circus regularly offers hour-long info sessions during our bootcamps that provide the opportunity for students to connect with future employers. These employer visits feature various companies from our Employer Network of 400+ companies that are eager to hire Grand Circus graduates and provide information about their company and available opportunities.
Each class has 1 lead instructor and at least 1 instructor assistant. Both of the instructors set aside time for tutoring office hours. Students can sign up for spots on a first-come, first-serve basis. If we need to open more slots, we have a bench of tutors that step in to help with the increased capacity.

PLEASE NOTE:

If there are fewer than eight enrollments in the training program, only the "Enrollments" number will be displayed; all other data is hidden in order to help protect the students' identities. The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
