Our comprehensive course is designed for individuals who want to deliver meaningful results and lasting impacts in the areas of quality, cost containment, revenue enhancement, and customer satisfaction by implementing Six Sigma principles. This course prepares students for the Six Sigma Green Belt and Six Sigma Black Belt certification examinations offered through the American Society for Quality (ASQ). The course not only teaches the framework of the American Society for Quality's (ASQ's) Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt body of knowledge, but also allows you to test and apply the framework through quizzes, engaging exercises, fun games, and case studies. This unique course design provides on-the-job readiness to analyze quality problems and be involved in continuous improvement projects in the real world. It is an ideal course for the Six Sigma project leader and team member. Show More

Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate the Internet and use e-mail are required. You must be knowledgeable in basic Algebra and Statistics. We recommend completing the Black Belt project at your place of employment. Black Belt-level projects require significant real-time data, which is easier to obtain when you are presently employed. Projects must be based on an actual business and are subject to approval by a Master Black Belt. Examples include: Manufacturing Floor – Reduced manufacturing product defects; HR Department – Reduced recruitment cycle time; Accounting Department - Reduced accounts payable invoice processing costs. To obtain Black Belt certification, applicants need to show proof that they completed two Black Belt level projects. These projects are not needed to complete the course, but an applicant will need to show proof of projects to apply for the certification exam. If you are currently unemployed, consider a Green Belt level certification course.

PLEASE NOTE:

If there are fewer than eight enrollments in the training program, only the "Enrollments" number will be displayed; all other data is hidden in order to help protect the students' identities. The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
