Students will be prepared to work as allied health care professionals serving the needs of physician in delivering quality health care services to clients. This program will train students to assist physicians by performing functions related to the clinical responsibilities of a medical office. Instruction includes patients examination and treatment,Checking patients in and out upon arrival and departure Answering phone calls and questions Assisting providers with exams and procedures Administer injections or medications Work within the electronic health record (EHR) Perform EKG, phlebotomy, and laboratory procedures Taking patient vital signs Upon successful completion of this program, students would be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national examination. MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
