This certificate is a five day, 30 hour supervisor course. Each day consists of about 7 hours of training. Content covered: comprehensive overview of OSHA standards and safety and health hazards such as fall safety, electrical safety, caught in between hazards, struck by hazards, tool safety, ladders. stairs, scaffolding safety and labeling within the construction site. This online OSHA course places special emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. Participants earn an OSHA 30 credential recognized by OSHA and by companies nationally and is endorsed by the National Safety Council and NIU. Instructors are certified trainers. Show More

This Program is a fundamental course required in career pathways in Manufacturing/Production and Warehouse and Materials-Moving and Handling, and related occupations.
Milwaukee Community Service Corps. (MCSC) assists trainees with job placement and also provides opportunities to practice new skills and build experience in MCSC's Work Projects Program. Trainees receive $11/hr., at Work Projects training work sites including: landscaping, home repair and renovation, snow plowing/removal, recycling, tree planting, and other projects.
Educators/Trainer are available to help trainees if they are having difficulty with training content.
