The Dairy Feeding Management embedded short-term technical diploma will prepare students with practical experience and theory applications in dairy nutrition and feeding management of dairy cattle. Knowledge and skills gained in this certificate are critical to meeting the demands of managing a profitable and progressive dairy operation. Learning how feeding programs are developed, along with mathematical skills needed to understand feeding programs and managing them, are key to a dairy farm being competitive in today s dairy world. This embedded diploma certificate is for learners serious about contributing to the success of a dairy farm through a career managing its dairy feeding programs.

The Dairy Feeding Management Technical Diploma ladders all credits into the Dairy Herd Management Technical Diploma (one year)
Employment Services available to College students and graduates include: Electronic postings of all current openings listed with Employment Services are located on Wisconsin TechConnect, work-study positions within WITC are mailed/e-mailed to eligible students, Salary and placement information of WITC graduates are posted on the WITC Web site on each program page, resumé assistance - staff are available to assist with resumés, cover letters, etc. (check with Student Services), seminars/workshops held on campus (including interview preparation), and job fairs held on campus.
The Academic Support Center (ASC) is located at each campus. Community members and students are encouraged to meet with an ASC instructor to create a personalized success plan. Services include: GED/HSED preparation, college preparation coursework, academic support within the classroom, foundational skill building classes in math/writing/reading, test taking and study skills strategies, critical thinking skills, basic computer skills, learning styles inventory, free peer tutoring, workshops focused on student learning, math and writing labs, academic coaching: individual one on one support, and English Language Learner (ELL) classes.
Students are responsible for a percentage of tuition and fees as determined by the WTCS Tuition and Fee Refund Policy when a class is dropped after the date classes start (regardless if the student ever attended). Refunds are calculated from the date the student formally notifies the Student Services office of their intent to drop a class or completely withdraws. Students must complete a drop form or drop classes online through MyWITC.
