This Associate in Applied Science degree program prepares students for a Registered Nursing career in a variety of healthcare settings. Career Outlook: Employers will expect graduates to have a plan for completing their bachelor's degree in nursing. This program admits students through a petition selection process. Nursing Assistant training is required prior to petitioning. Also required for admission: • One year of high school-level biology and chemistry Required Natural Science courses must be completed with a grade of B- or higher in each course. These courses are NATSCI-177 and NATSCI-179 (or NATSCI-201 and NATSCI-202); NATSCI-197; NATSCI-186. All general education courses required for the program must be completed with a grade of C or higher.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
