Moraine Park Technical College
Whether you are ready to advance in your career, start your own business or gain entry-level employment, the Business Management program at Moraine Park will give you the foundation you need. Business Management students learn business fundamentals including marketing, accounting and computer software applications. The program also explores managing operations, supervision, teamwork, problem solving, communication skills and ethical behavior. Graduates of the program are prepared to be successful leaders in today s fast-changing work environment. Students perfect their management skills in service, manufacturing and nonprofit sectors. Students in the Business Management program gain a full understanding of business with courses in leadership, human resources, teamwork, quality, finance, marketing, operations, labor relations/business law, employee training, problem solving, safety, and oral and written communication skills. This program is offered

Program applications are accepted until a week prior to the start of each semester. There are some exceptions for programs or certificates that begin mid-semester. Some high-demand/limited-enrollment programs reach capacity based on the number of students who complete admission. Applicants are accepted into limited-enrollment programs on a first-come, first-served basis and are admitted from program waitlists as space becomes available.
All courses from the Business Logistics Coordinator technical diploma and Project Coordinator Certificate directly transfer to the Business Management Associate Degree.
Advisory board committee members from area businesses provide guidance and direction on curriculum and program outcomes.
Moraine Park offers Employment Services and Career Services to students.
Tutoring is available online and face to face for our students.

PLEASE NOTE:

Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
