The purpose of this site is to give Job Center and partner staff tools and resources to help provide equitable, unrestricted, and nontraditional job information. Following are highlights of the site.

The focus is on tools for integrating NTO activities in Job Centers
including graphics of women in nontraditional jobs.
Nontraditional Jobs in Wisconsin (women
and men)
The focus is on Wisconsin NTO jobs for women and men by county and
state from
the 2000 Census. Excel file with built-in filtering capabilities. Fields are
county, SOC code, occupation title, female numbers, male numbers, percent
female and percent male.
Note: The linked document takes about 2 minutes to
open on a 56K dial-up connection. If Excel is on the machine you are
using, you can right mouse click on the link and select "Save target
as" and save the file locally. You can then view the information
without tying up your internet connection. The file will take about a minute
to save locally.

The focus is on web sites in Wisconsin and the nation that provide NTO
resources including videos, graphics, strategies.
Wisconsin Job Centers are responsible for providing equitable and unrestricted job information to all customers. This means job information and referral activities are not based on stereotypes of what is considered traditional women's and men’s work.
They should also include occupations that are considered nontraditional for women and men. The US Department of Labor defines nontraditional occupations in which 25% or less of the workers are either women or men.
